Sharp blade
To get a closer shave, use sharp blades. Try to avoid the blades that have been used for four or five times. They do not stay sharp and you will not acquire better performance from them. Do not put too much pressure, always use gentle stroke. Save the tricky spots of your face for the end.

Use facial scrub
The facial scrub will help you to open your pore, removing the dead cells and allowing the blood cell to flow properly. Using facial scrub also prevent things like acne, infection and ingrown hair.

Discard irritation
Any kind of irritation will cause a damage skin or make your skin inflammation. So take very cautious step to prevent this problem. Avoid anything that stings or numb, tingle during or after the period of shaving. Try to stay away from using alcohol, peppermint, menthols and things like that.

For special occasion you need the special shave. You will need to shave in two steps. The first is to shave with the grain using extra light pressure and the second is reapply coat of shaving cream or foam then shavein opposition to the grain and you will receive the smooth and excellent result.
