As we know the food is essential for each and every one of us. We should also keep in mind that the food habit should be little different between man and women. The woman strictly maintains the slim and sexy body, where the man also should look out for the both strong and energetic body.
So, let’s find out what kind of nutrition level man should follow,
Low fat
It is by the law, the foods which are labeled as “low fat” must contain 3g fat or less per 100g or 1.5g or less per 100ml. The food which can be named as “fat free” if they have less than 0.5g fat per 100g. However, these can be very high in sugar.
The Ingredients list
Ingredients are listed in organized by weight, so whichever ingredient there is most of appears first on the list and whichever had least is the last. All additives and flavorings also must be listed.
Organic products
At lest 95% of organic ingredients should be contain in each and every organic products. And the organic ingredient must not be produced using unapproved artificial chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Sugar
You should take foods that contain more than 15g sugar per 100g to a minimum, unless they occur naturally from fruit or milk.
Unseen sugar
Sugar can be hidden in food under many pretenses. So, don’t just check for sugar. Also look out for words such as sucrose, glucose, fructose, maltose, hydrolysed starch and invert sugar, corn syrup and honey, all of which contain high levels of sugar.
Artificial sweetness
Although there has been some disagreement over these in the past, all sweeteners must now be approved by the European Commission (EC) and listed in the ingredients list.
Salt
The food which contains more than 1.5g salt per 100g or 0.6g sodium is considered high in salt. Eating too much salt can increase your blood pressure which cans later increase the chance of heart disease and stroke. That’s why the experts suggest that, adults should not have less than 6g of salt a day.
